New:

– New: Rules for automatic shipping fees depending on weight are no longer hard-coded into the program. To have shipping fees automatically calculate in the checkout screen, go to Sales->Options. You’ll find 2 new buttons. Click on Add Shipping rule to add minimum and maximum weights and a fee that will be given when the shipping weight<br> that’s entered on the checkout screen falls in-between<br> this minimum and maximum weight. Currently, you can add a total of 10 shipping rules.

Optimized:

– Optimized: The database is now completely normalized. This will improve some performance and enhances a lot of behind the scenes workings.

Known issues: After changed a inventory or expense category’s name, it will show as if the category has not been changed for any other items of the same category. It has indeed changed, but simply does not display the changes yet until the sales module is reloaded.

Updates in 0.2.1.12 also included new payment and shipping tabs in the Sales->Options screen. Accepted payment methods and shipping vendors and carriers are no longer hard-coded and can now be customized.
